Exercise & Weight Management

Skinny Gazelle is formulated to provide steady, safe and natural energy, for up to 5-7 hours. As your energy increases, your activity levels rise, which can, in turn, provide the motivation for exercise. And when you commit to this exercise program, the pounds will begin to melt away!

But why is this so important? Well, an estimated 65 million Americans -- about 2/3 of the entire country -- are now considered overweight. When it comes to cardiovascular health, the American Heart Association has determined that physical inactivity is one of the biggest risks factors. It turns out that many sports and activities we regularly engage in, such as walking, jogging, bicycling, swimming, and (aerobic) dancing, may offer cardiovascular benefits.

How Much Physical Activity Is Enough?
Recently released guidelines for physical activity provide recommendations for all healthy adults between 18 and 65 years old. According to these guidelines, healthy adults should exercise moderately for at least 30 minutes daily. And, they advise that healthy adults should exercise five days per week.

The good news is that ANY physical activity, even running errands, may benefit cardiovascular health. The bad news is that most Americans do not receive enough physical activity. The problem may due to the lack of motivation. You see, as our energy levels drop, we struggle just to stay alert and awake, let alone exercise.

The Low Carb Connection
A recent study published in the New England Journal of Medicine found that those following low carb diets lost more weight than those following low-fat diets. This was true even when 300 extra calories were consumed daily.
Research suggests that consuming less carbs may reduce LDL (“bad”) cholesterol, and increase HDL (“good”) cholesterol. Consuming fewer carbs may benefit diabetes, as this may improve blood sugar (glucose) control. As Skinny Gazelle contains NO carbs, it’s ideal for dieters! And as it’s not sugary or carbonated, you won’t be left bloated or uncomfortably full.

Skinny Gazelle features optimal levels of nutrients shown in studies to contribute to effective weight loss, including:

  • Vitamin C –research suggest a link between vitamin C and the body’s ability to covert its fat into energy. Vitamin C is needed to oxidize (burn) fat, which is itself crucial to weight loss. A published study in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition found that those with vitamin C deficiencies burn less fat when exercising. However, when 500 milligrams of supplemental vitamin C was taken daily, exercise performance and vigor improved. Vitamin C may promote a feeling of fullness, improve metabolism, and contribute to an effective exercise program.
  • Vitamin C may also promote weight loss by providing powerful exercise benefits. As it plays a large role in connective tissue repair, it benefits athletes and especially weight lifters. And vitamin C’s antioxidant properties may actually reverse some oxidative damage resulting from exercise.
  • B Vitamin Complex – as vitamins B3, B6 and B12 convert and metabolize fats, proteins, carbohydrates and starches into usable energy, they’re important to effective weight management. Vitamin B6 also speeds up other cellular chemical reactions. The form of B6 known as pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (PLP) plays a role in roughly 100 essential enzymatic reactions, including that of human metabolism.
  • Manganese – this essential trace element activates the enzymes necessary for metabolizing fats, carbohydrates, amino acids, and cholesterol.
  • Magnesium – this essential mineral is responsible for producing and transporting adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the body’s source of energy. Magnesium may enable glucose (blood sugar) to enter cells, thereby producing energy. If glucose is unable to enter cells, it’s stored as fat. Indeed, experts consider magnesium deficiency to be a leading factor in the American obesity epidemic.
  • Octopamine HCL – studies suggest that this biological substance may improve weight management by helping to release fat from fat cells (known as “lipolysis”). This has made octopamine a popular nutrient for weight loss. A study published in 2003 in the Journal of Physiology and Biochemistry found that octopamine effectively reduced body weight gain in obese rats, with no apparent side effects.Yohimbe – this herbal stimulant has displayed properties for increasing fat metabolism. Studies show that yohimbine -- a yohimbe compound – may increase mean weight loss among low-energy dieters.

You'll feel the difference from your very first bottle!
