This is due to its proposed ability to improve immune activity, as well as to improve the body's ability to withstand stressful conditions. Deficiencies may be linked to decreased immune function. In fact, Clinical and Experimental Immunology published a study demonstrating that anemia resulting from B12 deficiencies was associated with very low levels of white blood cells utilized for immunity.
  • Magnesium Glycerophosphate – this essential mineral is known to play a part in over 300 enzymatic reactions, as well as ALL biological functions! Magnesium is vital for both innate immunity (targeting attackers, with no long-lasting effects) and acquired immunity (targeting specific attackers permanently). It may benefit allergies. Asthmatics, in particular, typically have low levels of magnesium. In a study in the Magnesium Bulletin, 18 adult asthmatics consumed 300 mg of magnesium daily for 30 days, and experienced decreased bronchial reactivity.
  • Aspidosperma quebracho-blanco (quebracho) – this Argentinean tree species may offer considerable properties for respiratory health and lung function. Specifically, quebracho may increase the rate and depth of breathing.
